We took the past couple weeks to regroup and re-evaluate before starting to deliver updates. We are very excited to bring Surf v0.4.9 to you.
Almost all the things you need to know
With 🪁**v0.2** we introduced Smart Notes, a quick notepad that was directly integrated into your context in Surf. We’ve seen people using them to think alongside their tabs, PDFs and YouTube videos to create physics and philosophy study guides, blog posts, personal journal entries and more.
This interface felt powerful and natural. The outputs can be molded. The AI generated fluff can be skimmed, tweaked & humanized. We saw people doing extra work to turn chat responses into notes, and others asking for split screen with notes. So we’re bringing notes to the sidebar, in a way, it’s a very early split screen 🤠
